Anthony graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Physiotherapy (2020) and previously attained an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology & Health Science from York University (2016). His passion for human movement stems from his life experience with exercise and the positive, transformative effects it had physically and psycho-socially in his life. His desire to help others, along with his immense interest in human anatomy, physiology, and functional exercise training has led him to pursue Physiotherapy.
Anthony utilizes a multi-modal approach to rehabilitation including a combination of exercise, education, manual therapy and modalities such as acupuncture & dry needling to help patients get back to the activities they enjoy. He empowers his patients to take an active approach in managing their injuries and recovery process. He has a strong desire to incorporate exercise as a preventative strategy to mitigate future injury and promote longevity.
He gained additional training in vestibular rehabilitation successfully helping clients recover effectively from many conditions such as vertigo, concussions, and vestibular neuritis to name a few. Moreover, he has additional training in dry needling/functional intramuscular stimulation (cFIMS) to help patients kickstart the body’s innate healing resources, improve neuromuscular control and overall function.
Anthony has experience working with athletes as a previous strength trainer for Ontario Athletics Baseball Association as well as working with diverse populations with the City of Vaughan as a Fitness Consultant, Instructor, and Personal Trainer.
He is dedicated to encouraging others to live a healthy active lifestyle, and consistently strives to practice what he preaches. Outside of the clinic environment he is an avid runner, weightlifter, hockey player and golfer. He also very much enjoys playing drums or guitar in his free time.
